About the Graphic Design Major
Carroll University’s graphic design program offers course topics in principles of design, color theory, typography, digital video, packaging, brand identity development, UI/UX, photography, 3D, multimedia production, and more. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of graphic design theory and history which will support you while generating informative, effective designs. The curriculum provides an interdisciplinary approach to the creative process – allowing students to experiment, articulate, and define innovative solutions.
Through additional course offerings from the art, photography, and business departments, you’ll further develop your creative skills and expand your marketing knowledge. Our connections with the local professional design community means there are numerous internship opportunities available. Students have the chance to gain real-world experiences in and out of the classroom.
