Carroll University’s Political Science minor teaches you the basics of American national politics, including how government is set up and the political processes of voting and policy-making. You’ll be challenged to think globally as you examine the political systems that exist today and evaluate existing political processes.
Beyond classroom work, you’ll conduct independent research and may have the opportunity to present your findings to peers. The 20-credit minor will help you develop strong communication skills in reading, writing and listening while you learn to think critically and problem solve about current news and events in today’s political world.
A political science minor complements majors such as communication, business administration and history.
