What should students know about you?
I have been teaching college chemistry courses for over 20 years, and I continue to enjoy the opportunities to meet new students and explore with them the chemistry of the world around us. I am continually looking for ways to improve my teaching. I am active in the Midwest Association of Chemistry Teachers at Liberal Arts Colleges and participate in Faculty Development opportunities here on campus. I enjoy learning teaching techniques and strategies from my colleagues in chemistry and across campus. My goal is to keep my teaching fresh, relevant, and engaging for students. Students in my classes will spend time problem-solving and working with each other. Students should know that we are here to help you succeed and we enjoy visits to our offices from our students!
