Scope and Policy Statement

For purposes of Carroll University’s compliance with 34 CFR 668.43, a student enrolled in a degree-
seeking program is determined to be located in the State of Wisconsin if any of the following are true:

 

1. The student is living in campus housing in the first semester of enrollment in the program; this includes admitted students who have applied to live in campus housing for the first semester of enrollment in the program.

2. ​The student is enrolled in a program for which on campus coursework is required during the first semester of enrollment in the program.

3. The student has a “Current Address” in the student information system in the State of Wisconsin at the time they register for their first semester of enrollment in the program. If none of the above criteria are true, the student’s location will be determined by the state or territory listed as their “Current Address” in the student information system at the point of first attendance of a program. The point of first attendance is defined as the first day of the first semester in which a student is registered in a degree-seeking program.
